Coal India Limited gave 31 offers to IIT Kharagpur engineering graduates

The Placements are IITs are always talk of the town as they tend to make news for some or the other reason. This season, the most employable engineering institute in India, IIT Kharagpur has found Coal India as its biggest recruiter with 31 job offers.
Even this season, there were global companies from US, Japan & Taiwan made offers to engineering graduates from IIT-Kgp. Although the salary package figures weren’t disclosed as decided earlier in the IIT Council review meeting, a total of 1100 students were placed through 282 companies’ 1220 job offers.
Amongst the big names that participated were TATA Steel, Reliance Industries, Cypress Semiconductors, John Deere, OLA & others. Apart from the established companies, several start-ups also made offers to the coveted institute.
