IIIT Vadodra gets a huge 50-acres land in Dumad village!

After it was recently announced that the government has signed a MoU to set up 3 new Indian Institute of Information Technology campuses in Pune, Nagpur & Ranchi in collaboration with corporate companies like Tata Motors, TCS, Hubtown & others, the government of Gujarat has allocated a sprawling 50-acres land for one of the IIIT, Vadodra which has a campus in Government Engineering College in state capital, Gandhinagar.
 
The IIIT Vadodra is first national informational technology college in Gujarat & is set-up on Public Private Partnership & is mentored by Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DAIICT). The Gujarat government allotted a total 70 acres to education institutes in 13 districts of the state. Of these, the Indian Institute of Information Technology has got the biggest share of 50-acres & shall be utilized for several institute related facilities.
